Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door fans MAY recognized this - Doopliss! One of the chapter's bosses, in the game Doopliss steals Mario's identity (uh, actually steals his body, but same thing). Doopliss then manages to steal your party, and you have to fight back and show them the truth (but, Mario turns into Doopliss, so think freaky friday* but Mario universe). This is my favorite game ever - and I really loved how this one turned out; the soft red glow of his eyes, the bright moon backdrop lighting up Doopliss's back and the cathedral - this is a companion piece to Pumpkaboo Night. Crocheted shawl in a beautiful, ombré yarn in my favorite colors - blue, purple, pink. I really enjoyed creating this shawl. This was my first real "test" of my crocheting abilities. I saw this pattern and it spoke to me - I loved the intricate lace details; how each row was different yet it all worked together. Looking at it upon first glance I had no clue how it was created or how to make the stitches, or how to even begin making something like this. I couldn't even read the pattern - but after I downloaded and started learning how to fabricate each row, I was hooked (pun not intended). It became my obsession for the next 3 months working through each row, seeing it progress from one day to the next...that feeling is why I love creating things. In total, it probably took me close to 100 hours if not more - it helped me level up my crochet skills and now I can read patterns easily! I am currently working on a crochet umbrella now :D Currently this shawl is not for sale, but if interested feel free to contact me. Due to the time committment, I would say minimum would be $500USD due to the amount of time it takes.
