The slow deterioration.

This portrait is part of my Dark Series; This is the second portrait – created entirely with charcoal. I'm still figuring out how vulnerable I would like to be - this piece I was going through it, I felt stuck, not trapped just in a rut.

This woman, similar body and shape to her Violet counterpart, is thinner - the life in her eyes cast downward, in refusal to look at the viewer. Her hair is more disheveled and is wearing a dark, long sleeved shirt to cover more of her body.

Each print is a high-quality scan directly from my original work, printed on textured paper, and hand sealed with a UV coating – ensuring the print will last for years. More sizes will be available in the future, but for now they are printed on 8.5in x 11.5in to remain closest with the original size.

Medium: Charcoal on paper
