The slow deterioration. This portrait is part of my dark series – study of charcoal. This was the second portrait in the series – created entirely with charcoal. This woman, similar body and shape to her Violet counterpart, is thinner - the life in her eyes cast downward, in refusal to look at the viewer. Her hair is more disheveled and is wearing a dark, long sleeved shirt to cover more of her body. Each print is a high-quality scan directly from my original work, printed and hand sealed with a UV coating – ensuring the print will last for years. The size is 1:1 with the original.
